What: Amadeus, new Spanish restaurant at The National Center of Performing Arts (NCPA), NCPA Marg, Nariman Point.

Why: Farrokh Khambata, the chef behind Joss, opens his new Spanish-Mediterranean restaurant next week, lined with photos of flamenco dancers and full-swing orchestras, lit by antique chandeliers and fitted with a long bar. The menu will offer dishes like lobster with grain mustard, Saratoga lamb rack and Joss’s awesome chocolate soufflé (yay!). Look out for the full bpb review.

When: Curtains up on July 7.

Why: White Collar Hippie is fresh off the boat, and we were on the docks waiting to receive it. Run by adventure junkies Sachin Parikh and Vikrant Chheda who want people to “travel, not vacation”, this company designs the coolest group trips: travelling to a music festival with a band, learning to build a boat and climb coconut trees while kayaking in Kerala, surfing on a secluded beach with sand sculpture classes and astronomy lessons in a Rajasthan dessert. What: Mumbai’s first Haagen Dazs store, Oberoi Mall, Western Express Highway, Goregaon (E), Rs 680 for a sundae.

Why: The American ice cream company sets up shop in Mumbai, scooping up ice cream, fondue and other desserts. We loved Fruity Journey sundae, where peaches play host to cold, cold strawberry cheesecake ice cream, dusted with flakes of orange. Read the full review here.
