bpb's fifth underground kitchen, another Indigo Deli, Cheap Sex and our new venture!

Our new venture: bpb in partnership with Phone pe deal introduces The Potluck (www.thepotluck.in), where you can get awesome discounts – think freebies but MUCH sweeter – on our favourite Mumbai hot spots. We haven’t officially launched yet, but would love for you to give Potluck a try. Feel free to poke around the website (it’s still under construction, so excuse the dust), buy the current kickass deal from Prive – it’s real – and tell your friends about it.

– filling up fast! Rs 1,000 per person, BYOB, plus ones strongly discouraged.
Why: bpb’s underground kitchen turns five! The party’s at a subscriber’s home where 20 strangers will gather for interesting conversation over a delish, Spanish-accented meal by Shantanu Gupte, executive chef at Valhalla. You should come – we may even have cake!
When: June 3 at 8.30 pm.
pREPARE
What: Pepper, Dr Ambedkar Road, next to Brownie Point, Bandra (W), call 9820119892 or log on to www.pepperbypooja.com, start at Rs 1,000.
Why: Designer Pooja Pariani and her floating totes get grounded at Pepper, a cute new store. Our sneak peek revealed a mixed bag: tired Indian clutches and jeweled totes but also fun, decidedly goth faux leather purses. Jewellery by Peahen and Pandora's Pitara, shoes by Fuchsia and clothes by Fahrenheit will also be in stock.
When: You crave belle pepper. Opens next week.

What: Indigo Deli, Palladium, Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, call 24986262 to make a reservation.
Why: Lower Parel suits rejoice! This new deGustibus outpost is like the inside of a giant (4,400 square feet!) wine casket, complete with swooping wood-panelled ceilings, open kitchen and formal dining area. Helmed by Chef Rodney Kabral, the menu features new additions like salmon burgers and open-faced tuna sandwiches along with Deli staples. Watch out for the full bpb review!
When: You want to Deli-gate your meal plan. Opens today.
bUM
What: Vertical Orgy boxers from Cheap Sex, shop at www.cheapsex.co.in, Rs 450.
Why: They may be printed with silly innuendos, but these boxers from Cheap Sex will make you grin before you bare it. They have multiple designs, but we stand by the Vertical Orgy version sporting a sea of legs with underwear around the ankles.
When: You can’t work with a brief.
***
What: Swimwear by Shrivan Narresh, Chamomile, Palladium, Phoenix Mills and 14th Road, Khar (W), start at Rs 6500.
Why: Finding a good bathing suit in Mumbai is pretty much impossible. Until now. Chamomile’s sunny new shipment of resort wear includes solid coloured, geometric bathing suits you should definitely invest in. We especially love the one-piece tube with sassy zipper.
When: You want a new kind of sunk cost.
