bpb Scoop: Swimbos Take Note

We can almost smell the beach as swimwear and resortwear designers Shivan and Narresh get set to launch their flagship Mumbai store at Pali Hill, Bandra in the last week of May. Following a tip-off from a curly-haired belle with a tongue-twister of a name, we did some sleuthing of our own to find that the shop will replace Sabi, a fashion store that opened in November last year. Two piece information!

Prior to this, Shivan & Narresh’s uber-chic swimwear characterised by colour blocks, were scattered across different Bombay fashion stores including Chamomile. Now, under what we hear will be a very pretty roof – the experience will be akin to browsing an art gallery, we’re told – you can get access to all their latest beachwear and resort pieces that showed at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2012. Supporting your holiday ensemble will be fun accessories like shoes, cuffs and statement necklaces.

The fun part of the store, which will be all-white with a minimalist design, is their Bespoke service, where swimwear can be made according to your body type, colour and cut preference. Swell tides!
