Gem-backed golden tarantulas, crosses dipped in fuchsia, Ganesh sitting pretty on a bright, fat lotus - these and other strange objects will populate Bombay Electric's Cabinet of Curiosities event. Anyone up for some natural selection?

Designed by French jeweler Fanny Boucher (she sells under the label "Honorine"), the above-mentioned objects are part of a fine jewelry collection, launching at the Colaba fashion store this Sunday. Made from gold and silk, jade and uncut diamonds, they are guaranteed to induce lust (and sticker shock).

A Spoon Full of Sugar

Once you're done ogling at the goods and potentially selling the farm for a pretty pendant, comfort yourself with fresh crepes (we recommend caramel and banana) from Suzette, which is setting up a fun crepe station in Bombay Electric's outside area for the event. Also available will be an art class for little kids. No child left behind, indeed.
