Galouti and Kakori Kebabs at Kakori House - fantastic, drool worthy, melt in your mouth! Try the parathas - amazing thin, extremely yummy and an interesting saffron color!

Its in Bandra, and they only start 8pm onwards - strictly takeway, you wouldn't want to sit there and eat, trust me.

Serpis butcher in Bandra (at the end of Hill Rd. near Falafal) has the most amazing bbq on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. The owner sets up a grill out front and the boys make the best beef/pork burgers, chicken, and steaks. It's one of the best kept secrets in the city. Not only are the burgers extremely tasty, but they're only 30 bucks!! Call early and place your order cause even though the bbq begins at 6:30 he usually sells out by 8!!

Unfortunately, the bmc has cleared B Road at Marine Drive of all the awesome bhelpuri and paani puri vendors who sat there when i was growing up. BUT i recently found that the bhel guy hangs around the builidngs, and will deliver bhel right to your house if you call him!

I can't afford to dine at Tetsuma and Spices regularly, so I order my veg sushi rolls from Neelam Foodland, Khar (W). It's cheap and quite delicious!

There's a store called Fendi at Hill Road, Bandra which sells branded clothes like Zara and Banana Republic for a fraction of the original cost! It's export surplus stuff, but if you're willing to rummage, you'll definitely get a good buy.
