Wtf! Khar has been reincarnated as a bird. A hungry one. The neighbourhood's once-favourite bar reopened this week, with a new owner and a new name - The Hungry Birds (thank you, Pooja Joseph, for the heads up!).  

Owner Pragnesh says that the laidback setup, the bright furniture, the big bulb table lights haven’t changed, but the poster wall has been ripped down and replaced with framed posters and photographs of pop stars. Why? The menu however, is new—there’s kheema pav and pav bhaji with a twist, chicken and prawn popcorn and tandoori dishes like chicken and paneer tikka, to name a few.
