Trattoria Shifts Up to the Pool

Food Bulletin

Trattoria, it seems, has moved up in life. The Italian restaurant and coffee shop at Vivanta (formerly Taj President) that has for years supplied post-partying Fiama pizza to late night revelers, is shut for renovation. “For ninety-two days to be exact,” we were told by the hotel staff.

But while its ground floor space is overhauled – unfortunately, we were told that the food will remain more or less the same but rates will be revised– you won’t have to find a substitute. Tratts has moved up to the closed terrace area, with a blue view of the swimming pool. Not a bad temp space to eat their garlic bread and spaghetti carbonara. Even cafés need to get some air at times.

Getting there: Trattoria, temporary space at the terrace of Vivanta by Taj hotel, Cuffe Parade.
