Amore: Say, who’s the new guy flexing his fancy muscles on our turf? Daring to squeeze himself between us strong sugar mamas?
Gelato: Don’t bother preparing for battle. Word on the sweet street – Itlicks’ gelatos are no threat to ours in both, taste and variety. In fact, I heard a customer paid Rs 60 to choke on an overly sweetened mango gelato in a cup (chuckle).

Amore: Their puffs?
Gelato: Not-so-fresh looking.
Amore: And pastries?
Gelato: Better have been eaten within Bandra’s dessert radius.
Amore: Okay, so if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go back to serving dollops of what actually tastes like gelato.

Saving grace: Their sugar-free, fat-free dark chocolate gelato.
