
For the heat that just won't leave: this ice-filled cobbler from the gin bar at Arola, J.W. Marriott.
Ingredients
60ml Tanqueraygin
10 ml seasonal fruit syrup
Some diced fruits (watermelon, orange, pineapple or mango)
2 dashes bitters
Crushed ice as per requirements
Fresh, sliced seasonal fruits and mint sprig, for garnish
Method
Muddle the fruits in the bottom of a shaker.
Add the remaining ingredients and a few chunks of ice. Shake for 10 seconds.
Strain into an ice-filled glass.
Place a slice of watermelon or pineapple on top of the ice.
