Drinkers around Khar, Santacruz and Bandra are now at risk of losing a trouser button as new pub, 3 Wise Monkeys (not to be confused with Three Wise Men bar at Santacruz) is all set to open on July 16. Close to Khar station, the place will be fashioned after an English pub and will serve a long list of local and international beers, including Stella Artois, Guinness, Peroni, Hoegaarden and Asahi.

Beer will be sold in globes, 2.5 litre barrels, as well as 5 litre ones that will be suspended above big tables with a rope and pulled down on order. Talk about fun group activities! They also promise tons of happy hour discounts and a list of kebabs to line your stomach.

Now for the suspicious bits: 3 Wise Monkeys will randomly house a seafood restaurant called Twisted Fish in the outside section, which will be a completely different property from the pub. Also, the bar is located in a part of Khar that's not very well-known. But hey, if Wtf!, which is now shut, could drag the lot of us there, we might consider going down that road again.
