Think Inside
the Box

With a boxful of experiential gifts, WittyGift lets you live in the present.

Riddle me this: How do you fit an airplane, sky diving equipment, an instructor and the moolah for a lesson in a 7 by 7 cardboard box? Oh and you’d also have to make room for a sailboat, paintball machine, dirt bike and zip lining gear.

Answer: Buy the “Adrenaline Gift Box”, a pretty crimson case that contains a voucher booklet of above mentioned adventure activities (and more).  This box of “experiential presents”  you send to a friend, who can then pick any one option from the mini brochure. Pretty neat trick, huh?

This cool new service is WittyGift, the brainchild of Manvinder Kohli and Samuel Ziza, both of whom hope to take gifting in India beyond a bottle of wine. Other box options include gourmet, culture, dance and wellness, all of which are priced between Rs 999 and Rs 7,999.

Witty Pedia

Kohli and Ziza have been working on WittyGift for a year now, growing their roster of tie ups to include well known brands like Aroma Thai and Lakme, but also less commercial vendors - The Art Loft, Le 15 Patisserie and Flying Fox. Each booklet in the gift box contains about 50 options, ensuring that the recipient is spoilt for choice.

Ask Kohli to pick his favourite gifting options from WittyGift, and he’s stumped for a moment. “There are just so many to choose from. How about a chef who comes over to your home and cooks a meal for two, even sets up the table! Or French cooking lessons? Actually, wait no, I pick zip lining over a fort and lake.”  He may be undecided on his favourite, but we’ve got ours picked in case you were thinking of buying us something fun: a day sailing lesson with West Coast Marine.

Vouch(er) For Two

WittyGift also singles out couples, allowing you to gift from their Indulgence for Two category, which includes a restaurant experience where you learn how to toss your own pizza and then scarf it down with some wine; spa treatments, dance lessons with Sandip Soparrkar and other  fun date stuff.

Move On

So go on, don’t gift in the past, and make sure your recipient lives in the present.

not really a brand new idea (flat copy of what's done abroad, only name has changed), but good job copying...
