Why: Visual Disobedience is a newly-formed crew of do-gooders that advocates giving “the middle finger to rules, conventions, or other crimes against the imagination”, and will be hosting its first exhibition and sale of artworks this weekend. Go for works by upcoming artists like Prabha Mallya and Niyati Upadhya, who recently exhibited her photographs at the False Ceiling gallery; director Sudhir Mishra’s talk on short films; or performance artist Dheer Kaku’s video installation debut.
