Painting Conspiracy: Code Red

Love thy neighbourhood? Say it in colour at Painting Conspiracy, an event organised by The Art Conspiracy and uber-successful Wall Project, which on October 24 will let you claim a Bandra wall as your concrete canvas. Just remember to get there early enough to get a score a spot and bring your own brushes and paint – BYOP! You can also reserve a wall in advance. (P)Ain’t this awesome?

The Mumbai Film Festival: Show Reel!

Let’s be honest – lately show business just ain’t what it used to be. Luckily for you, the Mumbai Film Festival is lighting up the screens all over the city from October 21 to 28, with a stellar line-up of 200 movies from 60 countries, including David Fincher’s The Social Network Sophia Coppola’s Somewhere, Mrinal Sen’s Khandhar (restored version), and Innaritu’s Biutiful. Bandra Wine Tasting Festival: Sip Away

Alfresco venue, live food counters, cheese experts and pretty young musicians are all going to be nosing around Bandra’s second wine tasting festival on October 30 and 31,where you can sample 60 different varieties of international and domestic wines. Vino-Vino situation! Also on hand will be Nikhil Agarwal, wine expert from All Things Nice; and Italian chef Michael Swamy, who’ll teach you how to toss a pizza (always fun activity to try when you’re tipsy).
