Full Contact List: Save the Date

This Saturday night (November 12) will pack a punch, as Full Contact Championship returns with its next Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight night. This time the action moves from Famous Studio, Mahalaxmi to Filmalaya Studios at Andheri.

If you haven’t been to one of these before, here’s are all the numbers you need to know: 12 MMA fighters, 6 bouts, one ring, 400 spectators. Compared to previous MMA fight nights though, there have been some additions and subtractions. You can now get a seat at the fight for Rs 1,000 (Rs 500 if you’re willing to stand), and buy yum snacks catered by Khar cafe Fellas. Knuckle sandwich, anyone? What you will miss however, is the booze. But organiser Prashant Kumar begs to differ. “The atmosphere will be so charged, you won’t need alcohol,” he promises.
