Normally, we would never ask you to be associated with any kind of Jersey Shore, but this time it’s different. A fun philanthropic campaign is attempting to turn our sea-side city into the largest football team, with virtual jerseys and an online stadium extending from Colaba to Virar. This is Kick for Change by Magic Bus, an NGO that strives to better the lives of underprivileged kids through sports.

All you have to do to get your own jersey is log on to the Kick For Change website, contribute Rs 300 for the football to get kicked two metres ahead, and you become part of the Mumbai team. If you want to sweeten the deal, you can even buy chocolate cupcake kicks at Le 15, of which 20% of the proceeds go to Kick for Change.

Go ahead and do your last good deed for the year. No, being kind to Moet’s stock doesn’t count.
