Shalan Dera, the artist running this event, which stretches from December 17 to 19, has been at the wheel for over 15 years, churning out uber cool objects out of a cute Mahim studio that she set up a few years ago. She decided to play Santa this year because she wants more people to discover the pleasure of working with clay, a medium she claims "is the perfect reflection of our attitude to life."

So stop by the Potter's Studio if you're in the mood for some heavy duty philosophy, accompanied by an incredibly light touch. Your wallet will be happy, and it may just help you shape your new year better.
