An unemployed man kills his parents who were ‘mean and spiteful’ and stays with their bodies for two days before going missing. RIP!

Good Lord: As India plays their 100th test with England, Sachin Tendulkar is looking at scoring his 100th international century. Here’s a list of Tendulkar’s five greatest centuries. Meanwhile MS Dhoni auctions of his world cup bat for Rs. 72 lakhs in benefit of his charity, the Sakshi Foundation. 

Hanging with the Girls: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton kickstarts her visit to India by emphasizing greater cooperation between India and the US. On her agenda thus far have been meetings with Sonia Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj and Jayalalitha.


The Homecoming: Space shuttle Atlantis is on its final journey home after a 30 year run, carrying back more than two tons of rubbish and equipment. 

The latest picture to do the rounds online is of media baron Rupert Murdoch’s wife Wendy coming to his defense as a protestor smears him with shaving cream. Murdoch was testifying in front of a parliamentary committee and said it was the ‘most humble day’ of his life.

Producer Farhan Akhtar is making Chetan Bhagat’s novel, 3 Mistakes Of My Life, into a movie in which he will also play the lead role. He, along with co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani, will also donate money from the earnings of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to victims of the blast last week.

Rain and Drain: Mumbai has over 6000 potholes in 1100 locations, even though the monsoon has just begun. Bump!

Treasure Island: Inventories in the properties belonging to erstwhile Sathya Sai Baba yield gold, silver and cash running into tens of crores. This news comes soon after inventories at the Padmanabhaswamy temple in Kerala revealed treasures valued at over Rs. 1 lakh crore.
