Mumbai will play host to ramp models of a different kind next week as renowned American skateboarder Tony Hawk rolls into the city. Performing live at The American School, Hawk will do neat skateboard tricks – maybe even a Kickflip McTwist or a 900? – with a bunch of other riders (there’s also one 14 year old) on a vertical ramp. Vertigo getters!
Rocking to the roll will be you of course, and DJ Scott Nixon, previously seen and heard at Fabric, London and Ministry of Sound, who routinely plays at boarding events. The gratis performance should be fun, backed with the possibility of meeting cute skateboarders. Enjoy the free style.
