Why: New restaurant Halfway House (“It’s a concept in America,” says the manager and we fill in, “…For criminals and alcoholics?”) has a hit-or-miss menu, large first floor space, a hookah area outside and no liquor license. Get chicken wings in tangy red sauce and hearty lamb goulash but skip cilantro mushroom naans and anything that comes with their strange, chemical tasting cheese. Full review out next week!
