Why: Sonny Walia’s super-active, Delhi-centric, food-focused Facebook group kicks off at Gourmet Planet next week with monthly sit-down meals for thirty people at restaurants all over the Capital. The first dinner at Indian Accent will include a chat with head chef Manish Mehrortra; an appearance by Pakistani chef Amina “Poppy” Agha (the two competed against each other in TV show “Foodistan”); and a value-for-money set meal featuring fois gras stuffed galawat, baby idlis, applewood smoked bacon kulcha and mishti doi cannoli.
