Why: Sonny Walia’s super-active, Delhi-centric, food-focused Facebook group kicks off at Gourmet Planet next week with monthly sit-down meals for thirty people at restaurants all over the Capital. The first dinner at Indian Accent will include a chat with head chef Manish Mehrortra; an appearance by Pakistani chef Amina “Poppy” Agha (the two competed against each other in TV show “Foodistan”); and a value-for-money set meal featuring fois gras stuffed galawat, baby idlis, applewood smoked bacon kulcha and mishti doi cannoli. Great empires like the Roman and British were destroyed due to decadence and pleasure indulgence.
You are promoting western decadence in the Indian society by having such glutounous activities which your ancesters would be ashamed of.
Use your resources for the benefit of the society and not your shallow ego gratification.
