Nizam’s Kathi Kabab: For mutton keema rolls. I really like their green chutney and make my rolls extra spicy. If you’re health conscious you can get them to make you a roomali roll, but it tastes best in an oily paratha. Beliram Degchiwala: I love the fact that they shred their meat in their rolls, so you’re not biting off large chunks of chicken. Nasir Iqbal: This is take-away only, but their biryani is so delectable I had to put in on the list. Get extra green chutney to go with it. Let’s Roll: This is a dinner staple for me, especially their mutton shammi kebab rolls, which are awesome with an extra layer of green chilli. They’ve recently added mutton samosas, perfect for a tea-time snack. Malcha Marg, Anand Niketan, Chanakyapuri: A House of Pearls?

Moti Mahal: Whenever I go on a high protein diet, their grilled chicken is my savior – without a drop of butter or oil, but still delish. Sartoria: For pizza; I get thin crust with rocket, parma ham and goats cheese. Anand Lok, Hudco Place, Asiad Village: Bombay Duck Takes a Lebanese Dip

Sushiya: Tuna rolls for me and avocado cream cheese rolls for my vegetarian husband. Also the prawn tempura. Swagath: Absolutely love their Bombay duck, which I get with soft appams. Sagar: We only ever order their dosas. Both plain and masala versions are always crisp and buttery and come with generous portions of sambhar and chutneys. They travel really well, especially if you ask for the aloo-masala to be packed separately. Cullinaire: We've sampled most dishes from amongst their Thai, Oriental and Lebanese offerings and so far have like everything! Raw papaya salad and Thai green curry lamb with steamed rice are staples. It takes some time before your order reaches you since they’re always busy, but they’re worth the wait, especially since they pack and label all containers neatly. Shahpurjat & Panchsheel: Hip Central

Al Kauser: The best biryani and kakori kebabs, but call them an hour before you want the food. They send you the biryani in a lovely matka which you can reuse. Cook some mutton in it, it turns out great. Aalis: For when you’re craving chicken rolls. These are nothing like Kolkata rolls, wrapped in lovely roomali rotis, succulent tikkas and seekh kebabs. Chungwa: Expensive but good best Chinese food. Try mixed meat fried rice, double fried pork and prawn in black bean sauce, all of which comes nicely packed. Perfect for a dinner party as well. Food Connexion: Great tandoori chicken and roomali rotis, plus faster delivery than anywhere else I know. They’ll bring you an order even if you call in as late as 11 pm! Daitchi: They’re slow to deliver your order, but it’s always piping hot and neatly packaged when it arrives. Haldiram: The perfect place to indulge 24/7 breakfast cravings and a sweet tooth. Chola bhaturas are among the best that I’ve ever eaten, and go well with rasmalai or their thandai. Karnataka: Great tamarind rice and buttermilk. Lah: Think unbelievably delicious tamarind mutton stew and super soft malabar parathas, minus the wait for a table! Ziro’s: They don’t have an official delivery policy, but will deliver if you’re persuasive, a regular and live in the neighbourhood. Tibb’s Frankie: They use a different combination of spices than the Bombay one, but I still really like them. Kanchan: This guy is like the dada of Hauz Khas Village. Mainland China: A lovely variety of soups and fantastic accompanying condiments that come with any noodle dish that you order. I’d also recommend lemongrass chicken. Khaaja Chowk: We always order from here when we’ve been working late and just need a quick meal. Get the 20-piece kebab box for a no-carb dinner. Papa John’s Pizza: Though I normally don’t like chicken on pizza, I have to order a double topping of spicy chicken from here. The chicken has anise in it so it tastes like good Italian sausage. Go Chaatzz: They do individual packing for all the chaat bits so they don’t get soggy. Golgappa chaat comes in thaali boxes, so you can mix and match ingredients as you like. Picante: This small place is run by two business school alums. I get a burrito or the taco salad. Bernado’s: I lived for a year in Goa so I like authentic Goan food. Their roast pork is fantastic, and I order vegetables with coconut as a side. I’m not a huge fan of their packaging though, it comes in little bags which seem very old fashioned to me. Chawla’s Chick Inn: I love tandoori chicken and excellent seekh kebabs, and so do my kids. Also the tandoori platter has pretty good variety. They also have a loyalty programme with 10 % discount on your bill if you’re a regular! The food comes steaming hot and is very hygienic. Grillz Fast Food: Great grilled chicken sandwiches with extra mayo coleslaw – its pure gluttony! The sandwich gets a little soggy by the time it arrives, but I think that just makes it taste even better. Dwarka: Belly Up

Kadimi's: I am a hardcore carnivore but still love the food at Kadimi’s, which is pure vegetarian. They’re very prompt in their delivery and the best thing on their menu is dal tadka. Golden Dragon: They have the best Indianized Chinese food in Dwarka, but you have to tell them to make it well otherwise they can be casual about it. Please check on "Solty" call 9810815932. Only home delivery within 3km or self pickup. they are opposite to deer park, huaz khas. check their momos especially. I don't like packed momos so I call them 15min before and eat there only inside my car.
