Why: Saira Begum, the last surviving singer in her family of traditional musicians from Varanasi brings rain-songs to her baithak in Delhi next week – thunderous applause, please! She will be introduced by filmmaker and friend Saba Dewan, and during her recital perform kajri, jhoola, saawan and Bhojpuri folk songs celebrating the season.
